Brone laughed, "Maybe not ten...." But he didn't care how many they had, he loved her and every baby would be a part of them, a symbol of their love. Why would he want less of that? he figured he might be good with kids, he'd find out--he was usually good with people, but people who could reason. He'd find out.
"Of course not," Brone said with a smile. "How could anyone not love you more than anything?" he said giving her a soft kiss. She was his world, but the baby did seem to react to him.

Where this clarity came from, Serena didn't know, but it felt so good for things to feel like they were back to where things were before. So much had happened but it was so much better to be looking to their future and not being glued to their past like before. They were finally given the chance to move forward. She couldn't be happier. "You'll see. Our child will love me at first but then she or he will cling to you and I'll have to wait for our second child to have love," she continued to tease, rubbing her stomach.
"Still want to marry me?" she asked, a gleam in her eyes. She already knew the answer, but she liked hearing it regardless. A comfort measure and her last tiny cling to the past. They would have to plan things soon, and of course she wanted her mother there. The question was, despite all that happened, would she extent the invitation to her father?

"Of course Serena," Brone said with a laughing smile. She knew she wasn't totally serious, but she had still asked. He had risked his life for her and avenged her killer, if he didn't want to marry her, he might not have put in the same effort into it all. He loved her, and he knew that she knew it. "I love you Serena." He said with utmost sincerity, looking right into her face--he realized her scar had almost completely faded by now. And he had a fresh one... oh well.
Brone leaned in to kiss his wife to be, his future family right there with him. He could dream of additions, but all he needed was the woman in his arms. He's risk the sun a million times over for her-- even if his back hurt with intensity. It had been worth it all along.

ooc: my last post for tonight. i'm feeling really sick... "I love you too, Brone," she replied, putting as much feeling as those words deserved. How could she not love the man that had sacrificed so much for her, done so much, and would probably do it a hundred times over again. Nothing would keep her from loving him as strongly as she did now, and continue to do so for centuries to come. And even the thought of him now king, didn't drive her away. She would always stand by him no matter what, especially as he worked to stop the war that had caused so much pain. Her arms reached up and slipped around his neck as he kissed her, one hand lightly touching his back. She didn't know about his wound there, and if she did, she would know just how close they came to the other side. The one person she would ever need in this life, there in her arms, both of them wearing the scars of the battles they fought to be with each other. There was no better feeling in the world than knowing that kind of love.
