"That means a lot to me. Thank you for telling me that, Brone. Now excuse me while I figure out what my mother has done to my husband," she replied with a tiny smirk, patting his hands before having him stand and then help her up as well. She knew her mother to be able to do a great many things, especially when paired with members of her family, but then again, she never truly knew what the woman was capable of. And now she was just about to figure out just what. "Mother..."
Esmeralda continue to speak in Spanish from then on, giving a small explanation that made Victoria look wary at first, but then she started to smile, laughing even herself. It was such a ridiculous plan, but it was a good one nonetheless.

Brone helped the woman up and then remained quiet. What had this old woman done? He figured she was capable of almost anything--thats part of what scared him. Not like he felt sorry for De Lorme at all. He didn't even remember the man's first name. It was the mne in his family that he cared about. Esmerelda, Victoria, Serena, Lucinda..... Speaking of Lucinda, when the woman had finished talking, and Victoria was laughing, he held open his arms quietly, nodding to his baby. He wanted to hold her, he could hardly believe she was real.
Then to Victoria he asked, 'What'd she do?"

Esmeralda made her daughter wait until she had given the baby back to her father before motioning for her to fill the king in. Victoria was still grinning from ear to ear, thinking about how evil her husband's punishment truly was. It was so much so that she didn't even want to say it herself, but she wasn't going to leave Brone in the dark.
"Alright, but I suggest you sit down first just because the news might be a bit shocking, considering you are male." She paused long enough to make sure he was alright, sitting or standing as he may please before she told him. "I'm not giving too many details, but I will explain that I have two brothers who have magic in their blood and have trained with my mother since they were younger. Now she had them inflict what they believed to be as much pain as he's put me through in the years and then..." She started laughing again, because it just amused her considering how masculine he was. "And she herself, showed him what its like to be a woman."

Brone sighed, his whole body relaxing as he held his child once more. Lucy seemed to know it was him too, for she cuddled into his chest, her small chest rising and falling neatly against his own, her fist curled around the fabric of his shirt. The women wre talking and he rocked her softly side to side.
Sit? He was fine standing, but what did being a man have to do with it--- did she cut off extranious body parts--ones that women didn't have? That was certainly painful and unfortunate but... He listened quietly as she described.
"Wait... she turned him into a woman? I'm not sure I understand." He said. It would be enlighteng to be a women for a day he figured. But what exactly had she done?

"No, well not completely... Show him what you did to him, madre." Victoria remembered what it was like when she carried all three of her children, and even the couple that weren't here because of how abusive he was. All the emotions, hormones, weakness, and constant need of blood, even weakened powers because they were concentrated. And as Esmeralda turned to the side and made the motion of a swollen stomach, she couldn't help but grin. Now he would understand. At least for awhile.

Brone waited and then saw her motion as if she were great with child. he more or less understood as he looked down on his child. "Ah." Serena had been through so much despite the norms of child bearing, and he could only imagine what that alone felt like. He thought of Serena's cries when giving birth and shook his head softly. He'd never want to remember those sounds, but he would remember Lucinda's first cries.
Her skin was so pale, and soft, her hair--what little she had-- glossy and dark. She would no doubt grow to be like her mother. He stroked her cheek gently and she just cuddled closer against him. Brone smiled, almost losing track of who was in the room.

While the women were looking at each other with grins, Esmeralda noticed how Brone was slowly paying less and less to them and more and more attention to the little bundle in his arms. Victoria had a guess that Serena would be a bit jealous, but there will always be a bond between mother and child, especially with their magic. Either way, the two looked at each other and nodded. While Victoria went to give Serena a goodbye kiss on her cheek, Esmeralda walked over to Brone and patted his shoulder. "We leave now. Visit later. Very good man."
