Brone laughed a little at Alex's last comment. "Well, I'm still here to save your ass." He said with a grin, bright white teeth showing slightly. "So you don't have to worry. I'm scarier now," He said. And he was. He'd found that out before. People looked afraid of him, not to mention the little witch princess who had been on his land--not that he'd ever tell she had been there, nor would she admit to being afraid.
"But yes, I think you need to look for more people who have this power, you can't be the only one in the whole country who has it." Brone said. Alex had to learn about his gift? Would the spirits at the cave help him at all? Brone was skeptical of those. But really did it only happen to Alex-- or was anyone who could see visions being blocked?

"Excuse you, I'm plenty scary." of course he thought about his unexpected meeting in the words with Aarya, but he was not going to rat her out for being on his land, he didn't want others looking for her and killing her or something. It wasn't fair to her. But she had been terrified of him even if she never said so flat out. Brone wondered why he had not told Alex about that meeting yet, he went over it in his mind, wondering if there was something he was trying to hide. But there wasnt'---not that he could see--so why was he being so quiet?
"Yeah sounds like a plan." he said with a nod. Was this over? Brone was so sick of serious things, and this was just more seriousness, he knew it might involve him and that he should be more worried. But he hadn't seen Alex in a while and was determined to get a few laughs in.

"Okay well I don't care much if you don't find me scary--- but i know you do, you just don't want to admit it." Brone said. But others would ahve to find him scary, if he was going to rule the vampires, the responded well to fear of their king. they responded with honor and trust and loyalty. he was not sure if any other way worked. he'd have to remember to look that up later. "For example, random witches, and the slaves at the palace think I'm scary." But just using the word 'scary' made him less threatening.
"Oh, I don't care," the prince said once asked what he wanted to do. He was not really sure, and he truly did not care. He wasn't working, and that was all that mattered to him.

Brone rolled his eyes. "Didn't you know? I can read minds, can't hide from me." he said tapping the side of his head to indicate that he was smart, as if pointing to the brain. A grin had found his face, teeth showing in the dimly lit bar. "And of course, the palace is just thrilling." he droned. But he hated the palace--well, not so much the building, or even the people in it. he hated the work he usually had to do inside the walls, he hated the lessons and expectations of it all. Brone pushed back his hood and ruffled his hair flat again since the hood had altered it a bit. "You are the one who has time to do things that are entertaining, therefore, you can choose. I do not have time to think about fun, and therefore, do no know what would be considered as such."

Brone laughed and thought about the choices that Alexander and lain before him. He didn't feel much like swimming, and he would not go back to revelation cave since his run in wit Aarya, but he couldn't bring himself to tell Alex. he only hoped that his friend did not realize he was hiding something, but few knew Brone better than Alex did.
"Lets go to the mountains," Brone said finally. There would be plenty of room and thy could do as they pleased, no one would stop them, and there was usually things to distract yourself with.
"Unless you really want to go find out what you can about you're problem... well, the cave is in the mountains anyway.... did you want to stop in?" Brone asked, trying to hide his new aversion from the place, unsure if it was working.

Brone looked at Alexander for a minute and sighed, running his fingers through his hair slowly. "Yeah... I guess something is." He said first, furrowing his eyebrows as he thought of a good way to explain it to his friend. But sometimes things were harder to tell friends because they knew you so well. "I'll start at the beginning I suppose." Brone folded his hands on the table top and looked at Alex once before beginning.
Brone explained his meeting with Aarya a few weeks back, in the forest and how he had saved her from the wolf. "And then a few days ago I went to the cave, I often do that when I find myself thinking too much... And well, she showed up again. And I told her something I can't really believe I said, I'm not sure she understood." Brone had told her something Alex already knew, about how he hated all this training to be king, how he he was not sure who he really was without his grand title of crowned prince. "My feelings on being a prince, that is," Brone clarified with a sigh. "But the problem was I didn't realize how dark it was getting and suddenly I ran, telling her not to follow, I was getting hungry. But she's such a stubborn little witch and followed me. I almost killed her Alex. I had her in my arms , and a deer ran right into us, and I killed that instead. And you know, I keep wondering if she thinks I'm a monster. But I have no idea why I seem to care about her opinion." Brone shook his head, still looking like he was thinking hard.

Brone laughed as Alexander asked if he had feelings for her. "I don't think so. I couldn't do anything anyway if I did. I think you need to pay more attention Alex, Aarya is the youngest princess of the witches." He said with an amused smile. "I've never hunted a person and have them live, and I'm bound to see her again, she keeps showing up. I have no idea how a person reacts to that." He said with a sigh. Almost a discontented sigh. Brone shook his head. He couldn't be falling for the princess could he?
Brone though briefly on her scent. It had been so strong, so good---was that purely based on her alone, or his perception of her. Did she smell only that way to him because he was being attracted? That thought scared him. Him, and that immature witch? But he thought about them laughing in the cave, her tireless persistence.

"I don't think she can track me, I just thinks she wanders too much for her own good," Brone said. He couldn't decide if he was insulted or not. Was Alex mocking him for his strange thoughts of the witch girl? He sighed and gave Alex a look. "Yeah i do think about her, but not exactly the way you think of a lover." Brone had had plenty of experience with women--he was a vampire prince-- how could anyone think he hadn't. But he didn't think of Aarya's body, he thought of her personality, her stubborn face. Mostly the look of fear that she had worn after he killed the deer. "Her scent was unbearable." Brone admitted. He'd never smelled anything so strong. It was too hard to admit to himself that he might actually be in love with her. It was like Clara and Vlad, only no one was arranging a thing.
"If I'm falling for her I have to do something to stop it," He said flatly. but he had already slept with another to quell is busy mind and even then Aarya had come to mind. The little witch invaded not only his setting but his mind.
