[[ooc- one thing, they dont have cell phones. its like back in time a bit, the setting]]
Brone was sent a message to meet Alex at the pub. Now of course, that was neutral and he being the prince had to watch his head. Witches could be there, ones who wanted him dead. And of course his father's guards wanted to come with him, but he managed to talk his way out of that using the premise that it would only draw attention to him. Brone dressed in his usual all black and pulled the hood of his cloak over his head, trying to look like another weary traveler, minus the dust and swagger. he had to try and remember not to walk like a prince.
He trusted Alex, there would be no trouble, but Brone wondered what was up. Neither of them were very talkative about their feelings, so it had to be a sort of brothers in silent communication meeting of sorts. It was not hard to find his old friend, whom he knew right away, and Brone made his way to the back, sitting across from him. "I got away as soon as I could."

Brone smiled and shrugged. "Oh, fine." He said. But that ahd come to mean things were just the same. he was training and being taught most of the time. learning who he should be not finding out who he really was. But that was the life of the crowned prince. He would be king one day.
"But how are you?" Brone asked. Alex was the one who had called for him after all. Brone figured it was at least slightly important, enough that Alex was already hitting beer at this time of day. Brone took a sip of the beer that was set in front of him, wondering if he should be paying for it. He could certainly afford it, being prince and all. There had to be perks to being the future king's best friend. Brone started into his pocket for a few coins.

"You must have some idea," Brone said looking at his friend with a smile. But Brone knew that feeling, when almost everything was bothering you, or you just felt down, or annoyed but could not pinpoint something that was truly the problem. You always blamed something, but you really did not know.
Brone sipped his liquor slowly, he never drank much, especially when he did not need any. His taste buds were not used to it either. Not at all. So he set down his galss again on the wooden table, looking at Alex. "So, do you just wanna talk about what it could be?"

Alex did get visions, Brone knew that. It had helped him several times before, and that was part of why Brone planned to make Alex his advisor when he became king--a day that he feared would come too soon with this war still raging over one mystery. "Hmm." Why would Alex not be having any visions? That seemed odd. Things were certainly going on in the world that you would think he'd have a subject for his visions. "Has that ever happened before?" he asked. Was it possible to block someone's natural abilities?
Alex had never mentioned that happening before. "Well, the war bothers everyone but it's been going on since before we were born." He said. As for a girl, Brone was not sure what to say about that. Were women really that different? Vampire women were usually lusting, but that seemed to be all vampires ever did besides drink blood. history could prove that.

Brone furrowed his eyebrows in thought, just as he always did. His hood was still over her head, but not even the shadows could hide his classic thinking expression. "Yes, i think it's possible someone, or something is blocking it. I just have no answers was to whom or what, and why." Brone said thoughtfully, looking at Alex.
"The guard will be fine, they can work with surprise, it's just more convienient to know a little ahead of time." Brone said with a nod, still thinking. It was strange though, that his natural talents were slipping away. Brone wondered if anyone else was losing a power, or just him.
"Unless," he said suddenly, "What if this is a vision, that by nothing happening to you its showing a potential happening of loss of power, like some strange way of foreshadowing."

Brone listened carefully, and sure while that seemed bad, maybe they just had to stick together for a while. "Well, maybe its bad, but maybe it isn't something as drastic as death, maybe just something very unusual will happen for you, or even me." He said, folding hia arms on the table. He wondered how Alex had felt the last time. How many days he was visionless until Brone saved him, and did they return right away? Brone himself tried to recall that day with vivid detail. "What do you remember about last time?"
Brone furrowed his eyebrows again, thinking of the day he'd wandered out of the palace. He'd never been outside the palace walls before and he remembered several things. He tried to think of who was beating poor Alex to death, he barely remembered how he'd saved him at all.

Brone listened but it hardly told him anything. He had been hoping for a clue. "I remember how dreadfully boring the palace was," Brone said with a little smile. "I'd never been out side the walls before, and well.... I remember people beating you, I have no idea why or what I said to them, just that you looked terrible." He closed his eyes for a moment, he could see the street, see young Alexander but not much else. "I remember yelling something about being the prince and that they had to stop... but really from me at... how old were we? Ten? I wouldn't have been very threatening..." Brone only shrugged, it had been ten years ago if he had been ten at the time. It was a lifetime ago.
"But it is strange, I have no idea who could help you, or explain it," Brone said. "Anyone in your family ever have visions? Or just you?"
